Get involved. Financially supporting medical research is great, and desperately needed.  But there is more you can do to support the next generation of treatments and interventions, and perhaps help yourself and those you love along the way.

Researchers are looking for people like you that can help inform and improve their research. Whether you get involved as a participant, join a research project team as a patient representative, or contribute your ideas and experiences in other ways, you can make a difference.

You no longer have to guess what being in a research study is like, how to get involved as a patient or carer with researchers, or wonder where you can meet other people that may have been involved in research to connect with.

Research4Me’s Facebook group, social media channels, newsletter and database all provide you with those opportunities.

At all times, our commitment to you is to be transparent about where those opportunities come from and how they are funded.

We know how hard it can be to look for clinical trials. We want to make that easier. We can do a personal search for you, or support you with information on where to look.

Our Knowledge Centre answers many of the commonly asked questions about clinical research trials. We are adding new information all the time to extend public access to information about medical research in general.

We also blog regularly about medical/clinical research related topics.

Sometimes it is good to be in a room of like minded people with a common interest.

We strongly believe that as much as we can tell people what medical research is about and its value, people will resonate with research more when they hear what it is like from others like them.

So we want to help facilitate getting your stories out there, so others can learn from you what its really like, what they really should know, and the personal benefit or hardship being involved created.
